Department of Labor Approved Related Instruction
All content taught in the program will be counted as related instruction hours through the Hoffmann Brothers apprenticeship program.
What You’ll Learn:
Introduction to HVAC
Basic duct design
Electricity and electrical safety
Brazing and soldering
Cooling systems overview
Installing condensers, evaporation coils, furnaces
Running HVAC maintenance
Indoor air quality and zoning
Gas piping
Venting and combustion
Heating and cooling maintenance
Program Structure
28-week intensive training
Typical hours:
7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (may vary for field days)
Blend of on-campus and field training days
Upon successful completion of the program and demonstrating proficiency in required skills, you’ll be on track to operate your own service truck as an independent maintenance professional or install apprentice.
